Dr. Setty is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Division of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery. He is currently serving as the Surgical Director of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, Director of Global Cardiac Care, Surgical Co-Director of the Adult Congenital Heart Program, and Surgical Director of the Pediatric Bloodless Cardiac Surgery Program. His clinical responsibilities span the entire range of surgical care for complex congenital heart disease, and his academic pursuits focus on several areas of clinical outcomes research, including social determinants of health and its effect on cardiac surgery outcomes, big data in international cardiac surgery humanitarian centers, and the epigenetic delineation of congenital heart disease.
