Gregory Adamson, MD

Greg Adamson is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine, and an interventional pediatric cardiologist at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. He completed his bachelor’s degree in biology at UC Berkeley and earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed pediatric residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and both pediatric cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at Stanford. Clinically, Dr. Adamson performs diagnostic and interventional catheterizations on infants and young children with congenital heart disease, and has a particular interest in device closure of PDAs in preterm and very-low birthweight infants. His research focuses on improving outcomes of children with complex structural and/or microvascular pulmonary artery diseases. He is actively involved in the didactic and clinical education of pediatric residents and cardiology fellows at Stanford.
